Aberdeen teenager Aaron Reid wasn't quite able to repeat the winning goal from his Elgin City debut at Forfar in Saturday's 2-1 home loss to East Fife.

The former Turriff United front man (18) spoke about his good start at the Black and Whites and his disappointment not to add to his tally in his Borough Briggs debut.

City went down to first half goals by Stewart Murdoch and Alan Trouten penalty, with Kane Hester's 23rd goal of the season proving to be a late consolation.

Manager Gavin Price also reflected on the defeat, and says he intends to bring in another fresh face in time for next Saturday's home clash with Annan Athletic.
