Success for Forres Gymnastics Club at events in Inverurie and Inverness events
Forres Gymnastics Club picked up a range of medals at their final two competitions of the year.
The club competed at a well-attended floor-and-vault Highland competition in Inverness with some notable successes.
Charlotte Morrison won bronze in the 8/9 beginners vault competition, with Rhea Henderson gaining the fourth place ribbon for floor and overall.
In the 10/11 age group, Matilda Gee was sixth on floor and Louisa Walters was fifth in the vault.
Lucy Stephenson finished sixth in the intermediate 12/13 vault.
A friendly competition was then hosted by Inverurie Gymnastics, contested by Forres as well as the host club and Balmoor (Peterhead).
The Moray club enjoyed a really good day, taking home several medals.
In 5 years beginners, Beth Watson won the overall gold and Nevaeh Kinghorn took bronze.
Lily Townsley won four medals in 6/7 beginners, taking silver in vault and bronze in floor and overall as well as the team event.
Rhea Henderson also won four medals in 8/9 beginners, with silver for floor and bronze in vault, overall and team. Charlotte Morrison won silver in the vault.
In the 10/11 beginners, Matilda Gee won bronze in floor and overall as well as team silver, with team-mate Louisa Walters part of the team success as well as taking a bronze in the vault.
Iris Whitton took home two gold medals to Forres in the 14+ advanced competition for floor and overall.
