Moray motorists fined for speeding in police ‘day of action’





Several motorists are facing fines after the police launched a crackdown on speeding in Moray today.

Officers with speed check guns targeted three specific areas.

PC Shand said: "Complaints from residents, particularly in the Rafford, Hopeman and Duffus area have prompted us to carry out speed checks in the area.

“Many drivers were spoken to as a result of the day of action with some of them being given advice.

“We also had cause to issue several conditional offer of fixed penalty notices."
