Moray MSP, Richard Lochhead, reveals all after answering questions from constituents
A member of the Scottish Parliament, who’s served his constituency for nearly 20 years, has revealed all after being grilled by questions from Northern Scot readers.
Moray MSP Richard Lochhead has offered his thoughts on a variety of topics, including Donald Trump, his love for seafood, and the ongoing conversation on gender-based politics.
MSP Lochhead announced he will not seek the SNP nomination for the seat at the 2026 Scottish Parliament election.
Originally from Paisley, the then-36-year-old politician held a stave from The Clavie during his Holyrood swearing-in.
However, he has represented the area since the birth of the Scottish Parliament after being elected as a North East regional MSP in 1999.
As his long political career comes to an end, watch as we ask him about his work, legacy, his thoughts on Nicola Sturgeon and even his favourite sandwich filling.
