Buckie road set for parking restrictions as Scottish Water works beckon
Waiting restrictions are set to be imposed on a residential street to allow repair work to be done.
There will be no parking permitted on Shearer Avenue, Buckie between Milton Drive and No 1 to allow Scottish Water to undertake ironworks repairs. This is due to start on April 9 and finish on April 18.
Over at 12 Reidhaven Crescent, Findochty Openreach are due to finish a maintenance dig by the middle of the week to install ducting.
At March Road West in Buckie, adjacent to Mayne’s Coaches, aim to have completed laying new high voltage cable for a new substation by the end of the week.
The local authority are due to begin work at some point between April 8-9 at 35 East Church Street, Buckie for three working days to conduct carriageway patching.
Verge repairs will be on the go from the A98 south of Buckie via Maryhill to U58l at Rosebank, Drybridge, Buckie from April 7-8 for two working days.
Between Broadley junction and the crematorium junction - on the B9016 from U13e near Raefin to the A98 near Broadley - passive traffic management will be in place to allow the installation of new telegraph poles for fibre optic connectivity.
This is scheduled to commence between April 5 and April 8 although no projected end date has been given.
