MacMoray Festival days this weekend set to see surrounding roads closed by Moray Council
Temporary traffic restrictions are due to come into force this weekend as a major music festival takes place.
This Saturday and Sunday will see the MacMoray Easter Festival take place in Cooper Park, Elgin.
For the safety of the public attending the two-day event, Moray Council have announced a number of road closures and traffic restrictions set to come into force in the area during the festival. These are due to run from 9am on Saturday through to 11pm on Sunday.
Cooper Park Road at the junction with King Street, Lodge Lane at the junction with North College Street and the south leg of King Street at the junction of North College Street will all be closed.
Meanwhile, two prohibition of waiting orders will be in place from North College Street to Cooper Park Road.
This weekend will mark the last MacMoray Festival, with a grand total of 29 acts gracing the two stages at Cooper Park.
Among the many favourites due to come to Moray are the Venga Boys, The Bay City Rollers, Showaddywaddy and many more.
