The fitness giant, known for its 24 hour gyms and flexible memberships, hopes to open its first gym in Moray this year.

A location for the new gym has not yet been secured. However, PureGym say they are currently in the process of securing a suitable location and that more information will be shared in due course.

A spokesperson for PureGym said: “We can confirm our plans to bring high-quality, affordable and flexible fitness to Elgin, with the opening of a brand new PureGym club in 2023.

"We’re in the process of securing a suitable location for the gym and will be in a position to share more information soon."

Elgin's last 24-hour gym, Anytime Fitness, closed permanently in 2021.

The gym had around 800 members at the time of closure.
