Cullen Community and Residential Centre will welcome the Princess where she will be able to see for herself the work which has been put in by the volunteer team of the Three Kings Cullen Association to transform the facility.

The group were formed after the centre was threatened with closure and demolition due to Moray Council cuts.

The building was taken into community ownership via a Community Asset Transfer and is now a thriving local hub, home to many groups in the town and a whole host of events throughout the year

HRH will also pay a visit to the Boyndie Trust, which has been operating for the last 25 years.

It is made up of three sections, namely the visitor centre - including the gardens, restaurant and gift shop - the development training for adults with special needs and the Banffshire Partnership, which provides rural and community support via the dial-a-bus service.

Princess Anne is also due to swing by Fordyce where she will drop by Gray Composting. Covering an area from Forres to Macduff and as far inland as Huntly and Aberlour, the family-run firm offering a range of food recycling services, reducing the potential impact on landfill sites.

They collect and process over 7000 tonnes of food waste and organic matter a year.
