Moray farmer left ‘disgusted’ after apparent theft of border collies near Keith





A farmer has been left “disgusted” after the apparent theft of her border collies.

Christine Forbes is seeking help to trace her border collies Zak and Leo who went missing between 11.15am and 12.15pm from their farm home at Lower Lynemore, Drummuir near Keith today.

Christine suspects the dogs, a small black and white male aged ten and a larger reddish brown and white male aged seven, have been stolen and she is asking locals to be on the lookout for the pair.

She told The Northern Scot: “We're disgusted someone can sink this low.

“The dogs are hugely important and it leaves us in a pickle at lambing time.

“We've already had to enlist the help of our neighbours working dog.

“They’re of no use to anyone as one doesn’t work and the other will only work for us.”

Christine has since notified police regarding the theft of the much-loved dogs.
