Turriff Show’s milestone 160th anniversary event concludes
Turriff Show’s 160th anniversary event came to a close on Monday with visitors enjoying more attractions at Scotland’s largest two-day agricultural showcase.
The focus shifted to the livestock judging with cattle, sheep, Clydesdale horses and British show jumping competitions coming under the spotlight.
There were two national contests with the Scottish National Simmental Show and the Scottish Region Bluefaced Leicester Progeny Show taking place.
The various winners took part in the grand parade of prize winning cattle and Clydesdale horses.
The Sheep Show saw New Zealander Stuart Barnes entertain with his wooly friends.
Highland dancers took to the stages to compete in the various sections.
Long service awards were presented along with the prizes in the cereal growing competition.
There was fast-paced action in the sulky trot racing and the Kipperidge Gun Dogs entertained the crowds at the main show ring.
Children were able to take part in a variety of races and teams of four participated in the big bag race.
