An ambulance was duly dispatched to the 54 year-old’s home at Langstane Place, Elgin.

Speaking at Elgin Sheriff Court, fiscal depute Shay Treanor stated that the crew established Taylor was alright then left the address.

However, at 3.30pm another call was received from Taylor stating that he had suffered a stroke.

The ambulance returned, then left again, only to be summoned back once more at 4pm.

Taylor appeared in court via a video link from HMS Inverness, where he is currently serving a sentence on another matter.

Sheriff Olga Pasportnikov extended his incarceration for another four months.
