The houses will each include two reception rooms, open plan kitchen and dining rooms, utility room, five bedrooms, en suite bathrooms, main bathroom and storage space.

A further planning application to develop it into three dwellings has also been submitted but is yet to be determined.

Mandi Cooper, manging director of property auctioneers Auction House Scotland, said: “Recently reduced from £99,000+ to £89,000+, this fantastic development opportunity offers the chance for a property developer to grab a fantastic deal at our upcoming auction on March 27.”

The development, located around five miles east of Elgin, will go under the hammer at 2pm on Thursday this week at the Radisson RED Hotel in Glasgow.

The auction will also be livestreamed whilst telephone and proxy bidding will be permitted for those unable to attend in person.
