Lossiemouth man, last seen at Silver Sands Holiday Park, reported missing from Moray town
UPDATE: James McMillan has been traced.
A search is underway for a 49-year-old man reported missing from the Lossiemouth area.
Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace James McMillan, who was last seen at around 1am on Thursday, March 20, at the Silver Sands caravan park off the B9040.
Officers said that concerns are growing for his welfare. Silver Sands Holiday Park said a search involving the Coastguard was ongoing.
James is described as white, around 5ft 10ins, of slim build with short, dark, balding hair. It is not known what he is wearing but he is not believed to have outdoor clothing with him.
Sergeant Krystle Ross said: “We need to make sure James is safe and well and we are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.
“Please check outbuildings and sheds in case he has sought shelter.
“Extensive searches are continuing and we are asking anyone with information that could help us find James to make contact with us immediately.”
