Tickets are now available for the event at the Laichmoray Hotel in Elgin on Saturday, September 7 with The Dandy Ceilidh Band.

The charity’s centre on Elgin High Street offers both practical and emotional support to anyone with cancer or close to them, and also provides a variety of complementary therapies and social activities.

Julie Ferguson, Clan’s Moray local services co-ordinator, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who has supported our anniversary events so far.

“All fundraising is hugely appreciated. It’s going to help us provide support to people of all ages in Moray who have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis.

“We look forward to bringing the local community together for what we’re sure will be an unforgettable night on September 7.”

A series of anniversary events organised in partnership with the Elgin-based business Cathedral Windows have already raised £20,000.

Efforts so far have included the 2023 Cavalcade car rally, a quiz at the Elgin Ex-Servicemen’s Club, a golf day at Moray Golf Club and a curry night at the Qismat Indian restaurant.

Julie Fraser, director at Cathedral Windows, said: “Over the past decade Clan has made an incredible impact on the local community, helping and transforming lives and supporting all those in need.

“We are proud to stand beside them in their mission.”

The centre on Elgin’s High Street is open from 10am–4pm on Monday to Thursday.

Tickets for the ceilidh on Saturday, September 7, are £30 per person and include an arrival drink plus a choice of either stovies or macaroni.
