A worker at Cawdor Estate took the snaps as he was battling in a Toyota Hilux through several feet of snow to feed his sheep on the moors.

Although the images were taken yesterday the conditions haven't shown much sign of improvement since.

Happily though, the access road through the moor has been cleared by a digger so the sheep have had something to eat.
