Elgin’s Reiket Lane road to temporarily turn one-way

A section of a busy Elgin road will become one-way for two days next week.

Moray Council is scheduled to carry out work on Reiket Lane during the course of both Friday, April 11, and the following day.

The local authority says it will be making repairs to “iron works”, which in this context refers to drains or manhole covers.

Traffic will be unable to turn left at the KFC roundabout and will be directed down the A96 instead.

The work will only be taking place on the section of Reiket Lane near the roundabout.
