Build it and they will come

FORT George is building up brick by brick for the celebrations of its 250th anniversary three years from now.

One of the new attractions on display when the visitor season begins again on Monday will be this replica model constructed entirely from pieces of Lego.

The fort, sited 10 miles over the Moray border, was erected in the wake of Bonnie Prince Charlie's defeat nearby at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.
