The event is being organised by the community band Moray Concert Brass along with Spey Valley Brewery which, founded in 2007, was the first commercial microbrewery on Speyside.

Amongst the many beers available will be Spey’s Cadet 4.5%, Speyside Larger 4.5%, David’s Not So Bitter 4.4% and Sunshine on Keith 3.5%.

Added to that will be the unique opportunity to try Snake Venom, which at a fearsome 67.5 % is sold by the shot.

Cider, soft drinks and hot food will also be available.

Stein Brass will provide live music throughout the day with a selection of polkas and waltzes, traditional to a beerfest, as well as popular sing-along tunes guaranteed to give the event a really authentic feel.

Tickets are available from Against The Grain on Batchen Street, or from www.morayconcertbrass.com or can be reserved by emailing mcbeerfest25@gmail.com

The £25 price includes a limited edition MCBeer Fest glass and £10 in beer tokens.

Advanced booking is recommended.
