A96 closed in both directions between Forres and Alves due to accident early this morning

The A96 between Alves and Forres is closed in both directions due to a road traffic accident early this morning.

The fire service were called around 2.21am and sent one appliance to the scene before leaving at 4.40am.

Diversions are currently in place.

Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
