A96 Fochabers to Keith road crash leaves one in Dr Gray’s Hospital





One person has been taken to hospital following a two car crash.

The A96 between Fochabers and Keith was closed for a while following the incident earlier this morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to a report of a two-car crash on the A96 between Keith and Fochabers around 6.40am on Tuesday, 8 April, 2025.

“Emergency services attended and one person was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin as a precaution.”

A spokesperson from the Scottish Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 06:36 to attend a two-car road traffic collision on the A96, Forgie.

“We dispatched two ambulances and a rapid resuscitation response unit (3RU) to the scene. We transported one patient to Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin.”

The road has since reopened.
