A four-goal performance from Darcy Matheson helped City defeating visiting Glasgow side St Anthony’s 7-2.

Mike Morrison’s side produced a clinical performance in front of a good Borough Briggs crowd to come through the second preliminary round of the competition - see Elgin City video footage below.
They will discover their next opponents in the first round draw at 6pm tonight.
Alexa Mann headed Elgin in front after 14 minutes, and Matheson scored three times before the break to give Elgin a commanding lead.
St Anthony’s pulled one back but Matheson’s fourth of the game was followed by a Lily Morrison goal to make it 6-1.
The visitors scored a second time with 15 minutes left but Lyndsey Brown had the final say for Elgin.
