Riders from Caithness to Aberdeenshire competed at Mundole Equestrian show jumping event in Moray on Sunday

MUNDOLE Equestrian hosted their latest show jumping event on Sunday, with some fine performances.

From Caithness, Farr and Huntly, riders made their way to the rural Moray club in an effort to qualify for the finals in October.

It was a worthwhile trip south for Caithness riders Linda and Sophia Ramsoy, with Linda taking first place in the 0.80 and 0.90 classes with Hinkelien and Sophia third in the 0.90.

Rosanagh Davison, from Elgin, had a double win in the 1.00 and 1.10 classes with Rockwood Beau.

0.45: 1 Henrietta Tennant (10) Lhanbryde (Moonie); 2 Rosheen MacSween, Nethybridge (Ebony’s Pride); 3 Deborah Jupp, Garmouth (Alba).

0.60: 1 Dion Haldane, Farr (Mika); 2 Vicky Penman, Elgin (Cottontail); 3 Neale Dixon, Elgin (Kaiser).

0.70: 1 Katie Innes, Buckie (Balhagarty Northern Lights); 2 Jenny Davidson, Forres (Theo); 3 Kirsteen Macleod, Gollanfield (Bruno).

0.80: 1 Linda Ramsoy, Caithness (Hinkelien); 2 Emma Taylor, Buckie (Elliot); 3 April Forbes, Nairn (Paddy).

0.90: 1 Linda Ramsoy (Hinkelien); 2 Emma Taylor (Elliot); 3 Sophia Ramsoy, Caithness (Lambada).
