Hartson, who also turned out for Arsenal and West Ham and played 51 times for Wales, will be joined by comedian Paul Reid at the event, which will be hosted by Ian Thain.

During his Celtic career, Hartson was Scottish champion three times, won the Scottish Cup twice and the League Cup once.

After retiring from football, Hartson battled lung and testicular cancer - so is well placed to motivate audiences of all descriptions.

Hartson is now a regular pundit on a number of sports programmes on television and radio.

He regularly appears as a studio guest on ITV's coverage of the FA Cup and also appears on BBC Radio 5 Live's coverage of both Premier League and Champions League games, and works for BT Sport and Viaplay as a match summariser.

Paul Reid has worked on the after-dinner speaking circuit since 1998. He is primarily known as a soccer impressionist.

Paul has starred on top rated TV shows like BBC’s ‘Only an Excuse with the legendary Jonathan Watson and also BBC radio Scotland’s ‘Off the Ball’ with Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove.

Paul has also spoken at a number of high profile football events including ex Celtic captain Neil Lennon’s testimonial dinner.

Forres Mechanics have suggested early booking as places for the event are expected to go quickly.

The event is £70 per person, with group bookings available on request.

Contact the club via social media platforms or speak to a committee member to book your ticket.
