Award recognises Diageo employee’s ‘dedicated’ work with youth
A MORAY woman who has gone the extra mile to help the area’s youngsters has been presented with Developing the Young Workforce’s Employer of the Month Award for April.
Eran Craig, talent engagement specialist at Diageo, has shown “dedication and commitment” to supporting the youth of Moray as they transition into the world of work.
Over the past five months, Eran has delivered 10 engagements across five secondary schools and the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) Moray campus.
She has spoken with more than 750 young people in Moray. In addition to this, she has committed to several other upcoming engagements due to take place in the next few months.
Reflecting on her achievement, Eran said: “The work that DYW does with youngsters in schools is amazing.
“It was never available when I was in school, so for me to be able to support them, is what I love most about my role within Diageo.
“Being able to engage with the young future talent of Moray is inspiring, seeing how they have such passion and determination to succeed.
“Anything I can do to help their journey into the world of work means the world to me, and hopefully some day it helps to remind them that they have such a bright future ahead of them that they can truly be proud of.”
